As a child, there was nothing I enjoyed more than spending time at my grandfather's car dealership watching him share his passion for cars with his customers. However, when I asked for a summer job selling cars, I was relegated to the finance office, since I was not "one of the guys."

The Cadillac scene in the movie "The Shape of Water" is one of the greatest salesman scenes of all time and resonated deeply with me. As the managing partner of the Luxury Optical Boutique, EYESPOT, in Chestnut Hill MA and the only optical in New England to carry the exclusive Retrospecs frame collection, I felt compelled to create my take of the Cadillac scene called "The Shape of Retrospecs".

I hope you love it as much as I enjoyed making it! - Melanie Cabral

This is one in a series of videos that parody the brilliant and entertaining "The Most Interesting Man in the World" ads.  Since the decommissioning of the last of the working German Porsche 912 police cars some thirty years ago, we believe the EYESPOTMOBILE is the last of the working breed of Porsche 912s in the world. The EYESPOTMOBILE puts in 12 hour a days, 7 days a week of work.
Opened in 2011, EYESPOT Optical is an independent, one-of-a-kind destination for customers in the Chestnut Hill, Brookline, Newton, and Boston area who value seeing and living life well. EYESPOT is the best optical shop in Boston for exclusive handcrafted designer glasses and sunglasses, contact lenses and laser vision correction all in an extremely convenient location in Chestnut Hill, MA, next to Star Market on Route 9.
We love "The Most Interesting Man in the World" video series and have made a number of spoofs in the same theme throughout the years. Here is our latest take titled "The Most Interesting Retrospecs in the World" with the fabulous Managing Optician, Melanie Cabral, and the Managing Optometrist, Glenda Savitz, at Luxury Optical Boutique EYESPOT in Chestnut Hill.
