Arts Without Borders: The Babel Remix

MULTICULTURAL VIDEOS FESTIVAL"ART WITHOUT BORDERS: THE BABEL REMIX"

This exciting, once in a millennium opportunity will provide the basis for Earth’s admission, or continued exclusion from the Interplanetary Cultural Consortium, the Universe’s most prestigious and time honored video remix competition.

In order for Earth to be accepted as a new “member planet” in the Interplanetary Cultural Exchange Consortium (ICEC) Earth artists must demonstrate creative collaboration between cultures across the globe. The ICEC is looking for artists and remixers that can overcome any cultural barrier and create a real Multicultural Experience here and across the Universe.

A collection of artistic video clips have been selected by the Intergalactic Subcommittee for Video Remixing , fed wi th cooperation and hosted by the MultiCultural Videos,
These video clips, along with a variety of works in other artistic mediums, will provide the raw materials for your remix. Some music remixes come from the Creative Commons CCMixter. Give credits at the end of your remix videos to the artists who originated the first clips you used to show your collaborative spirit.

The ICEC STRONGLY ENCOURAGES you to upload your own clips for remixing. Become an Interplanetary Cultural Ranger and START REMIX TODAY!

ATTENTION! If you are part of the artist group and already have your music, demo reels or video clips for galleries, museums or curators to watch please upload them to the MCV Gallery, Multicultural Videos Gallery ,
Your original videos will be featured on MCV and the music will be part of the Festival Art Without Borders. Moreover, they will be available for remixes so other people can promote your artwork.

ABOUT THE BABEL REMIX:
Named in honor of the former High Commissioner of Interplanetary Culture Lukash L. Babel, Art Without Borders is the longest running and most prestigious remix competition in the Universe. In the Earth's first opportunity to participate in the ICEC resulted in the Babel Tower failure 5000 years ago. We at the ICEC are confident that the Art Without Borders: The Babel Remix will yield better results for human race.

GUIDELINES:
The remixes that will be most appreciated by the High Commissioner of ICEC and the Panel of Judgment will practice multicultural collaboration. The ICEC sees only the Earth and its inhabitants. The ICEC does not recognize mental, economic, language, cultural, political, religious or physical barriers, and neither should your remix.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the MIX tool as your Creative Tele-transportation Tool to show them our Ideal Creative World, the differences and similarities you see in them. A World Where Everybody Can Become a Creator and Where Everybody has Something Creative to Share. They are waiting to watch your remixes.
